Natural gas produces just 117,000 pounds of air emission, much less than that of oil and gas which is 164,000 and 208,000 respectively.
Natural gas also contributes to developing clean alternative energy in many ways, such as:

- Produce methane for hydrogen, and hydrogen is used to eliminate soot and produce clean diesel fuel.
- Electric utilities use natural gas to generate cleaner power
- Natural gas is used as raw material in wind power blades, energy-efficient material, and solar panels.
